Spice is Nice – A HeritageFest Journey

Talk of spices and what instantly springs to mind is India. The state that goes by the tourism catchline of “God’s Own Country” – Kerala – is known as the spice garden of India. But a visit to the Singapore Heritage Fest 2013 at the Plaza Singapura mall yesterday brought me fresh insights into the world of spice.
