Remembering Mom on her Birthday

My mother, Sathiavathy Gnanadhas, will have been 77 today – 14 October (75, if we go by her certificate records) had she not attained her heavenly abode on September 7, 20014. The 40th day of her passing also happens this week.

On this occasion I would like to thank our friends and relatives for the love and kindness shared with us during her illness and thereafter. Your presence at the funeral / thanksgiving service, prayers and messages of support brought us all great comfort in this time of grief.

She came with me to the Konica studio on Nungambakkam High Road and even climbed the stairs up for this photo. Sadly, she was gone less than four months after this.

To live in the hearts of those we love is never to die.

I also remember with gratitude the support we received from you all when I lost my father, V Gnanadhas, as well on July 30, 2010.

May God Bless You all!
