India in a better shape than other emerging countries, says Subbarao

He is giving a talk today in Singapore on mega trends in India

The former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Dr Duvveri Subbarao, is speaking today at the NUS Business School on mega trends in the country – http://bschool.nus.edu/eflyer/2014/bizschool/india-megatrends/eflyer-duvvuri-subbarao-reg.html?utm_source=carousel&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=india-megatrends-subbarao2014

In an interview to Bloomberg TV earlier today, he said India was in a better shape than other emerging markets.

Dr. Subbarao is currently a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the NUS Business School and the Institute of South Asian Studies and a Special Visitor under the MAS Eminent Visitor Programme.

A Reuters report today also talks about what it takes for India (and China) to beat the emerging market gloom. Interesting perspectives worth checking out at http://in.reuters.com/article/2014/10/29/india-economy-breakingviews-idINL4N0SN3BL20141029
