20 Singapore Researchers among World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds

Twenty (20) scientists from Singapore have been ranked among the World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds 2015 report released yesterday by Thomson Reuters. Eleven of them are from the National University of Singapore.

American and British scientists dominate the list of 3000 researchers released by the Intellectual Property (IP) and Science arm of Thomson Reuters.

Significantly, two researchers – Professor David Lou and Professor Zhang Hua of the Nanyang Technological University – also made it to the report’s list of 19 “hot” researchers.

Ranked eighth and 12th respectively, Prof Lou and Prof Zhang were the only scientists from Asia. Not surprisingly, MIT and Harvard scientists dominated the list.
