A 45-minute Delay in SIA Flight with No Explanation

The San Francisco-Singapore SIA flight (SQ15) I took reached the destination around 2am today as against the scheduled time of 1.10am.

One of the passengers was perhaps responsible for the delay as the flight had to wait for him (or her) while on transit in Seoul.

SIASo I will not blame SIA for the delay. But on touchdown there was no apology on behalf of the airline. We just heard the usual cliché – “thank you for flying with us, blah, blah, blah!

Are delays a matter of right for the SIA? Some courtesies are in order, particularly when one pays a premium fare to travel by SIA.
