Business travel does have its downside – gorging on unhealthy food. Tonight I ended up having just ice-cream for dinner at Swensen’s in Bangkok – at its outlet in Terminal 21.
Swensen’s in Singapore is not just for ice-cream and you get good food as well there.
I always have a weakness for ice-cream, so settled for it. On my return to my room my dinner was complete with some fruits and cookies.
This reminded me of my Mexico days in 1999 when I worked in Monterrey on a project with HP. On several days there then a banana split and some snacks were all I had for lunch or dinner.
That was how crazy I was then. Today’s experience only goes to show I have not changed much, blame it on business travels!
