The Times of India earlier today reported that 47 of the 48 countries in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) were in favour of admitting India as a member.
It singled out China as the lone wolf standing in India’s way. It later turned out that there were nine other countries which were not in favour of India joining the group. It included Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand and Turkey.
So The Times of India was deliberately misleading readers with reports removed from the truth to toe its open pro-establishment position.
Freedom of expression is so total in India that its newspapers have the liberty to spread lies and get away with it.
