This is an example of high-quality journalism, with a critic and columnist going beyond the ordinary and offering a different perspective on the Oscar gaffe yesterday.
I agree with her argument that Warren Beatty could have given the script a different ending.
That could have saved PwC and the organisers the embarrassment they ended up with.
But then not everyone can rise to the occasion as presence of mind is innate and is displayed as a natural, spontaneous expression of creative thought.
Even if the chaos had been averted I think PwC will still be facing the music for the bungle.
