This Imam had made comments against Christians and Jews. Amos Yee, on the other hand, had ranted against Christianity, Islam and Lee Kuan Yew.
The difference is that the Imam has apologised for his comments. An apology, though, may not make any difference as he could still be nurturing divisive tendencies that can harm harmony in Singapore.
As Uncle Sam has already accommodated Amos, even this Imam and millions more may make the cut as the U.S. believes anything goes in the name of freedom of expression. As long as any diatribe does not impair its own interests, that is!
