This is the month of Gemini! I mean the zodiac sign, (21 May to June 20), not Google’s AI tool, which did not know who Joslin Vethakumar is! Not an ego-quashing response as it was just an idle curiosity question!
When I queried ChatGPT 4 (or was it 4o?), it said he is bid management professional with BT who had earlier worked with Cisco. So, it was information around a decade old!
To ChatGPT, Google has not changed the name of Bard to Gemini!
Gemini, being a Google product, was accurate here. It said something like: “Gemini was earlier the name of the underlying technology while Bard was the interface for users to interact with that technology.
The best response came from Microsoft Copilot. I learnt from it that the name is derived from Google’s family of AI models – Gemini Nano, Gemini Pro and Gemini Ultra!
AI is fun to experiment with!
And I love it for the instancy it delivers.
If May is not the month of Gemini AI, industry experts have no doubt this will be the decade of AI!
